Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! As 2006 comes to a close, it’s time for us to look at 2007. 2006 has been a great year for stocks. The DOW is up 15%. Will we see similar gains in 2007? Here are some predictions:
- Do not expect the DOW to keep breaking records in early 2007. We believed the market will trend downward in the first half of 2007. The second half of 2007 should fare better. We predict the DOW will end 2007 at 12,600. The NASDAQ will likely end 2007 at 2,700.
- The U.S. will have over 200,000 troops in Iraq. Bush to admit it’s another Vietnam.
- Gas prices will be over $3 again in the first half of 2007. Consider buying Oil now!
- Toyota will be #1 auto producer, GM #2. Ford will be on a comeback, Ford stock to be at $10/share by end of 2007.
- Google (GOOG) bubble will burst as investors will come to their senses.
- Yahoo! (YHOO) will end 2007 at $35/share.
- Microsoft (MSFT) will end 2007 at $45/share as MSFT Vista will have jumpstart their earnings.
- KBR (KBR) will end 2007 at $40/share. Everyone hates Haliburton but loves KBR.
- Time Warner (TWX) will spin off AOL. This is TWX exit strategy.
- XMSR and SIRI will merge, finally. New company name will be XMSirius.
- Barrack O’Bama will be the front runner for the Democrats. Hillary will end up being the Vice Presidential Candidate. Perhaps an Obama-Clintion ticket.
- Pfizer will introduce new break through drugs, PFE to be at $35 by end of 2007
